Gunstock Hillclimb Cancelled for 2020

Laconia Motorcycle Week Postponed Until Late August

Gilford, NH (April 30, 2020) – Gunstock Mountain Resort and Ridge Runners Promotions have made the difficult decision to cancel the Gunstock Hillclimb that was scheduled to occur Wednesday of the 2020 Laconia Motorcycle Week. Earlier this week, the Laconia City Council voted to postpone the annual Rally to August 22-30. Depending on the state of COVID-19 and the CDC recommendations, the Rally could possibly be pushed back later into the fall.

Michael Farnsworth, Ridge Runner Promotions President explained, “there are so many unknowns with this COVID-19 situation, and that’s ultimately what led to this cancellation. We wanted to announce the change as soon as possible so the Pro Riders were informed. We’ve started looking forward to next year and are excited to work with both existing and new sponsors for the 2021 Gunstock Hillclimb. Ridge Runner Promotions and Gunstock have a great partnership, and we want everyone to know that we’re working together to make the 2021 Gunstock Hillclimb the biggest and best one we’ve ever put on.”

Tom Day, Gunstock General Manager added, “We’ll be back in 2021 with world-class pro riders, exciting entertainment, and an even bigger and better show!”

Due to the date change of the Rally, there are many outstanding questions about changing plans that have been made. Gunstock will be reaching out to all individuals who have camping reservations for that week to determine if they want to keep, move, or otherwise adjust their camping plans. If anyone has questions about camping, feel free to email
