Gunstock Open for Night Sessions, Yurt Yoga, and Belknap County Day

Ski with Santa on Saturday 12/21

Gilford, NH (December 17, 2019) – Gunstock Mountain Resort is opening additional terrain with the help of our snowmaking team and the cooler temps. The summit will be open for the weekend, and there’s a lot of fun to be had by all. The deadline for the Adult Race League and Kids’ Development Teams is Friday 12/20.

Night Sessions

Night sessions are up and running Tuesday – Saturday. Gunstock is the place to be at night! When most mountains in New Hampshire are closing, all-inclusive night sessions are just heating up at Gunstock. Each night session includes lift ticket, rental, beginner lesson, and two runs of Tubing or Mountain Coaster

Yurt Yoga

Come join our elite Gunstock Yoga Instructors Saturday, Sundays, and Wednesdays for a yoga class designed to relieve your body of the impact of the work week.

Optimized for both locals and travelers of various skill levels, our Yurt Yoga is a transformative experience. This class will implement traditional Hatha yoga with focus on lengthening and strengthening the muscles, while incorporating slow flow and holding some postures for a moderate length of time. Class begins with grounding (meditation) and ends with savasana (complete relaxation) with the overall goal being to elevate the awareness between the physical and energetic body.

Belknap County Day & Ski with Santa

Saturday 12/21 will be a Belknap County Day. Each month Gunstock Mountain Resort likes to give back to locals with residents-only benefits. This month, Belknap County residents check-in at the Welcome Center to receive a free ride on the Mountain Coaster, entry into the free raffle for a chance to win tickets, and the opportunity to purchase a $29 Flex Pass. Raffle winners get to choose either a pair lift tickets for the 2019-20 ski season or a pair of Premium Adventure Passes for summer fun.

Keep your eyes peeled Saturday from 11am – 12:30. Santa Claus will be taking a break from his Christmas prepping to make a pit stop at Gunstock for some festive skiing. Bring your camera and snap a pic with our jolliest skier!
